QDCC Return to Play in a COVID Safe Environment Plan
The club has fdevelped a "Return to play in a COVID Safe Environment Plan" that has been supplied to Cricket ACT.
This plan outlines the steps the club is going to take to ensure we are all safe as we move to preseason training, regular weekly training and when we get to match play.
One of the things we must get right is the ability for health authorities to be able to contact trace a group of people. We have committed to asking all players, coaches and officials that attend training to sign in using a QR code that will be accessed by simple opening your phone camera. Yhis is a non-negotiable requirement, we need to know who is at training. We will also have a sign-in sheet as well for those without mobile phones.
QDCC has also adopted a policy of "Get In, Train, Get Out". This means you arrive dressed fro training, kit bags are to be sprea around all sides of the nets instead of just one point and that the club rooms are currently closed (although there will be access to toilets).
You will see signage around the grounds thaty outline the maximum amount of people that can be in certain areas, these are based on governemtn requirements and we seek your patience as we work through this ever changing landscape.
